RBR Assault on iTunes NOW UP!!

In a vain attempt to introduce the Opposition back catalogue to the modern world we've put together three compilations aimed squarely at the digital download market. Chosen by Mark (Ray Charles), Ralph (Hive) and all three of us (Arc) they are a good introduction to the Opposition and its history. They are available through iTunes, Napster and many other reputable download services right now.

Click on the cover to see the track listing. Mark is just finishing off making the masters and I'm finishing off the artwork. Since all the tracks are not new, and you may already have them, we will be putting the artwork up online so you can make your own copy of the compilation should you so desire. We will not be pressing the cds but if you'd prefer to buy a hard copy as it were, cdr versions are available in the rbr store. You can just buy the tracks you are missing through iTunes of course. We are hoping that having this stuff available might introduce the band to a whole swathe of new listeners.

Speaking of Mark...

Mark has treated himself and bought himself a mac (for which I am truly grateful!). Having finally joined the digerati, he has thrown himself into it with vigour! He has discovered the joy of garageband as a writing tool and written an album or two's worth of new songs, more of which later. He has also decided to dabble in the wonderful world of website production, results of which can be seen at marklong.rightbackrecords.com - check it out, it might get more regular updates than this site, you never know...

You know, the one we've been promising for about a year or so... Well, the time has been spent scrabbling around, mostly in Mark's loft, looking for footage we can use to illustrate the band's history - called "archive" in the biz, I believe.
